You are technically not supposed to install both versions on the desktop because simply put - both want to be the boss. I'm not interested in cloud storage so I never installed it. It was designed for mobile applications but you can use it on the desktop. It sends files to the cloud automatically. Lightroom (LR) is the new version which is about 4 years old. In case you decide to get LR Classic (LrC) it is version 10 now which is the desktop version like LR6.

Just tried the full download, and it works. People that have moved onto the subscription version might have v6 lying around. I know its all cloud based, but is there a way to get a standalone version of Lightroom 6 anywhere ? I bought Lightroom 5 ages ago, but Adobe has no record of it at all for some reason.
